Questions about a Typeface?
You can tweet Stephen Coles, a typographical genius, and ask him the name of any typeface. Chances are he knows it. Be sure to include a link.
Creative Collaborative
I heard about a group that meets together to share work, bounce ideas off one another, and network. I have yet to go and see what they're all about, but in effort to nag myself into going I thought I post their link on the ol' blog. They're called Creative Collaborative. The following is taken from their website:
"Oftentimes as artists we work alone. Creative Collaborative is an effort to strengthen our artistic community, with the belief that as we help each other, we can produce better artwork and accomplish more. We have meetings each month, free of charge, for all artists: designers, illustrators, photographers, stylists, etc. Come, learn, collaborate, and network!"
